Covid-19 note to brides & grooms..

We cannot even imagine the heartbreak you feel during this spontaneous and unpredictable time. We understand the immense amount of planning and preparation that takes months to years to plan the most special day of your life. We hurt for you, but also want to shimmer some hope upon you. What we do know, is that many couples are experiencing this right now, so you are not alone. Thankfully vendors and venues are understanding that this was 110% out of your control as it was theirs. We hope that you were able to get your money back for most or change the date to another time. If this was not the case for you, we pray the most was made of it. It’s easy for the outside looking in that this is so minor in the grading scheme of things, but they must not also understand what it feels like to look forward to something for so long. We send you words of encouragement and are routing for you and pray you to keep your head up high. Here are a couple of things you should double-check if you are moving your date to a later time.

  • Vendors policies such as

    • Photographers/ videographers

    • Flowers

    • Catering

    • Hair/ Makeup

    • Outside decorating

    • Alcohol supplier

    • Fun activities that were planned

    • The venue itself -- check to see if they are available for a later date

We know many people have also chosen to elope and want to wish you a lifetime of happiness and love with your spouse. It is a perfect example of when life gives you super sour lemons, you can make some really sweet lemonade. All we know is that as each day passes, we are one day closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Best wishes,

Bright Star Ranch & Resort
